York Karate is conveniently located at Highway # 401 and Allen Road in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By partnering with Premier Fitness in Yorkdale Mall, we are able to keep our membership costs to a minimum while maintaining our usual standard of excellence in instruction. The studio facilities are excellent at Premier Fitness, with a full wall of mirrors, hardwood flooring, and more than enough space for our students to train.

This partnerhsip means that all students who wish to train with us at York Karate must also become a member of Premier Fitness. We have negotiated a "preferred corporate rate" with Premier, meaning that for just $50 per month, you have full access to all of the services and facilities offered by Premier Fitness as well as training up to 3 evenings / week with York Karate. This is roughly half of what it would cost to join your local neighbourhood martial arts dojo. How many neighbourhood dojos can offer you the facilities of a major fitness chain?

Unfortunately, you must be at least 16 years of age to join Premier Fitness. Given this rule, we are not currently able to teach anyone under the age of 16 at York Karate, despite our history of excellence in children's classes. We are currently looking to forge partnerships with other organizations that will allow us to teach children's classes once again. Check back often for updates on this venture!

To get to Yorkdale Mall by car:
    From the East: Take hwy # 401 west to the collector lanes for Yorkdale Road exit

    From the West: Take hwy # 401 east to the Allen Road / Yorkdale Road exit

    From the North: Take hwy # 400 south to hwy # 401. Exit onto hwy # 401 east to the Allen Road / Yorkdale Road exit
To get to Yorkdale Mall by Public Transit:

    Take the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line north to Yorkdale Station. Exit the station directly into Yorkdale Mall.
